Day 1

So....I decided it would be a good idea to blog about how time goes in Indiana. Plus this gives me something to do since i have nothing to do =p.
Yesterday was day one but, let me start out by saying I would not have had my trip start any other way than saying good-bye to those who took me to the train station! It was a great adventure! I had to fit in as many " Devon you're ghey" 's as possible since i can no longer do it in person. Though i did not cry before i got on the train, as soon as i got on and put my stuff up i went into the bathroom and balled my eyes out for a good 45 minutes!
So as far as day one goes, I started off waking up around 7:45am on the train and came into IN 20-30 minutes late which isn't too bad. My dad met me at the train station and i spent the whole day with my dad :) which even when we lived in Vestal hardly ever happened.

We went to breakfast at a whole in the wall restaurant, American Pancake House, it was so damn good! I only ate a short stack (two pancakes) but they were amazing! Then it was off too Orbitz, the local music store. After that we went to the store picked up some groceries and he took me to this Mexican store in what locals call Chico land. We picked up 11lbs of chicken breast for $16!! We were then headed homeward bound!

As soon as we got to the house i heard Diesel, my parents' 3 year old blue healer/rat terrier mix. My dad opened the glass doors and for a minute he just stood there not really understanding who i was. I said " Hi baby" and he went nuts. I doubt you have ever seen a dog jump like he does. It's like he's on a effing trampoline. I unpacked a bit then we went to the mall and i found some posters for some local shows :)!

After that we came home to my little brother balling his eyes out because some little asshole threw a snowball at his face and when my brother said something to him the little assholes father told my little brother "get your little fat ass out of here." My little brother is 9! What a jerk. As soon as my brother realized i was standing behind my dad he cheered right up and hugged me. My dad went to get my mom from work around five o'clock and I made roasted chicken breast for dinner :-p
After that we all pretty much just sat around watching TV. I played a game of UNO with my brother right before he went to bed at 8:30. Around 9 I sat down and called Katrina so we could watch American Idol together and make fun of the people who didn't make it and bitch about those who did.
Around 10 i made my way to bed and watched George Lopez until I fell asleep.
